Well, yep it is true Alli is walking. She just loves it and is so proud of herself. she gets the biggest smile on her face when she is done. The other day I was working out and i looked over and found her standing up with nothing around her to help her stand up, I quickly went and sat down and told her to walk to me and she hasn't really slowed down since. It is easy for her to get too excited and loose her focus and faceplant, so we still need to watch that, but she is a walking fool, and we are so proud of her.
I know that Halloween has been over for a little while, and I am finally posting some pictures. Pretty lame really, but I guess better late than never. Alli is in the middle, (she is a frog not a dinosaur). Her cousins that are the same age are on both side of her. Lexi on the left is a muchin from the Wizard of Oz, and Evelyn on the right is Little Red Riding Hood. They were just so cute.
Alli lovedHalloween this year. We went trick or treating and loved it. Alli got some of the candy, but of course, her parents had to help her eat it.
We had free pick up leaves day for the city. WE thought we could get by with a couple 13 gallon garbage bags. Well, as you can see it took a little more than a couple. The grand total 28 bags, therefore 364 gallons of leaves. Our legs and backs were really sore the next day. It sure looks better around this place.

It has sure been a crazy summer, and has been forever since we have updated the family blog, but here are a couple of pictures to let you know what we did this summer. We had the chance to take a last minute cruise. Brad in Karen invited us to go and well we just decided not to think much of finaces and go. We had a ton of fun and it was really hard to get the land legs back afterwards. It was also really hard to get use to cooking again (argh....) . It was just great though. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. We are now back in WA, and getting use to not living out of a suitecase and getting things done here. What a transition. Thanks mom and dad, brad and Karen for a great summer.

Ready, ready, ready, ready to run.
I decided to run for fun. I know that it sounds like an oxy-moron. Anyway, I just decided that I could do it. Anyway, in high school 3 miles didn't seem to long, but this race seemed like, well let me tell you, pretty much double. Anyway, my goal was to make it under 30 mins. My ending time was 24:57. So I kind of surprised myself. I was pretty sore for a couple of days, but it kind of set a spark for me. I think I may continue to run and train for some different races. I know running, who would have thunk.
